Whoever
said, "Precaution is always better than cure" must have had a bad
experience while traveling! Its time to revise what they taught when we were
kids. You wouldn't want to fall ill and spoil your vacation in Goa and miss
out on those amazing trips to beaches and trying out those mouth-watering
food that Goa has to offer. Here are some health precautions one must take
while traveling in Goa:
- Don't forget to carry some sunscreen lotion and necessary medicines
while you are traveling in Goa. In case of nasty sunburn, visit the
nearest clinic and get yourself treated.
- Check for hygiene and cleanliness while eating in roadside
restaurants. Try to get mineral water while eating out in restaurants.
- Do not roam around barefoot as it might give you fungal and parasitic
infection. If you do, make sure you wash your feet thoroughly with clean
water and soap and dry them quickly.
- Always insist for sterilized and disposable syringes in case you are
in need of medical help.
- Carry at least one bottle of mineral water while traveling since it
can get really hot during the noon. Keep refreshing yourself by drinking
water. In case you want to have juices, make sure you take it from a
proper restaurant or else go for bottled cold drinks.
- Don't take food from unknown people while traveling in trains and
buses as they may contain some banned substance and you risk losing your
baggage.
